“HERITAGE CONTRACTING CONSIDERS THE PERSONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH OF EMPLOYEES AND SUBCONTRACT WORKER PERSONNEL TO BE OF PRIMARY IMPORTANCE. OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH WILL NOT BE COMPROMISED TO THE DEMANDS OF PROJECT SCHEDULE, PRODUCTION, OR COST.”
– Dan Yohn, Heritage Safety Director
At Heritage Contracting, we believe a project is not completed successfully unless it’s completed safely. Drawing on our company-wide commitment, skilled professionals and safety innovations, we deliver intelligent safety solutions that have a positive impact on our client’s construction projects. The most important aspect of any effective safety program is a sincere commitment by top management. Our owner and management team have made it clear to employees and clients alike that safety takes precedence in every project we undertake. Their dedication is evident in many ways, including having a corporate Safety Director who has over 30 years of Safety experience, as well as a large investment in training and equipment. He is an OSHA certified instructor, which ensures that our personnel receive project appropriate training.
Heritage Contracting strictly enforces company policies for safety glasses, hard hats, safety shoes, and other personal protective equipment. We stock each worksite with first-aid supplies and we train employees and management in emergency preparedness and evacuation procedures.
This commitment to safety extends to every corner of the organization through our Safety Vision, Values and Policy, which all help to define tangible safety actions for every employee.
